A key part of the renovation was the introduction of a walk-in pantry, achieved through an extension to the existing footprint of the home. This allowed the Kitchen to maintain its proportions while significantly increasing storage and functionality, ensuring the main space remained open and uncluttered.
The design centres around a sculptural island with curved edges and fluted cladding, designed to read more like a piece of furniture within the home. With the sink relocated to the adjacent bench, the island becomes a highly usable space for entertaining, preparation and gathering, reinforcing its role as the social hub of the Kitchen.
Clean-lined cabinetry and integrated appliances maintain a streamlined aesthetic, while the updated colour palette plays an important role in creating cohesion throughout the home. Stone surfaces, warm timber tones and brushed brass accents introduce depth and warmth, complemented by feature lighting that enhances the overall ambience.
