This Bathroom renovation in Willagee was designed to create a calm, spacious and highly functional environment, with a focus on improving both layout and overall usability. The existing Bathroom was reconfigured and enlarged to better utilise the available footprint, resulting in a more open and resolved space.
A skylight was introduced to bring natural light into the room, transforming the overall atmosphere. This addition enhances the sense of space, highlights the material palette and creates a softer, more inviting environment throughout the day.
The design adopts a cohesive approach that reflects the overall home, with a palette that feels timeless while still maintaining a modern edge. Large format tiles provide a seamless base, while a subtle white subway tile was selected as a feature to introduce gentle texture without overpowering the space.
A floating vanity with fluted curved detailing introduces warmth and softness, echoed in the shower screen to bring a more organic feel to the otherwise structured layout. Paired with soft curves, brushed finishes and considered lighting, these elements work together to create a balanced and welcoming environment.
The result is a light-filled Bathroom that feels open, cohesive and thoughtfully designed, where materiality and natural light combine to enhance the overall experience of the space.
