This ensuite renovation was the first phase of a multi-stage renovation for our clients in their new home, marking their second collaboration with Hatch after we previously renovated their bathroom and laundry in Tuart Hill. The project focused on enhancing the functionality and flow of the space while considering the long-term design of the entire home.
We began by building a separate WC by incorporating a linen cupboard in the entry passage helping us to optimise the layout and creating a larger ensuite. This redesign allowed us to relocate the shower to create a spacious, walk-in shower. We also reduced the window size to accommodate a stylish shower niche, offering simple and efficient storage for the space.
The design was inspired by a bright, coastal feel, perfectly complementing the home’s coastal orientation. The feature feather tile adds texture and visual interest, while the brushed nickel tapware introduces a sophisticated and timeless touch. Ample storage was incorporated in both the vanity and the mirror cabinet, ensuring the space remains organised and functional. The design was carefully crafted with the future long-term vision of the home in mind, creating a seamless flow between the stages of renovation.
